This is a cute sandal that is true to size in length and width. The closure is velcro, not hook and loop. The leather uppers are very soft and the shoe is comfortable to walk in. The heel and platform are not real wood, but they still look nice. The leather footbed is comfortable and keeps your foot from sliding around. My only complaint is that the pair I tried makes a crinkling sound when you walk with every step! Maybe this will disappear over time as the leather stretches, but since I tried this shoe and another style (that did not make any noise), I decided to return these and keep the other pair.
